Technical Troubleshooting with Airsoft

"CHECK WARRANTY FIRST BEFORE DOING ANY MODIFICATIONS ON YOUR GUN"

AEGS (AUTO ELECTRIC GUNS)

(Always use quality bb's)

Problem: BB's rolling out of my barrel.

Your hop up may be off or your hop up bucking is worn or teared through normal use.

Problem: BB's jamming.

If your gun is jammed, do not continue to shoot the gun as it may cause further damage internally. Take out the magazine, flip the selector to safe and clear the inner barrel with an unjamming rod. Then proceed to clean your inner barrel as inner barrel through use accumulates dirt, dust and grim.

Problem: Gun is not firing/non responsive.

If your gun itself isn't firing or it's completely non responsive, check your battery if it's fully charged, motor tabs to see if it has slipped off the connector. If these steps aren't helping visit your local Airsoft store and have it diagnosed by a gun tech.

Problem: Gun making weird/screechy noises.

This may happen if your motor height isn't adjusted correctly or a stripped piston can also cause this grinding screechy noise. If you are unsure, visit your local Airsoft store and have it diagnosed by a gun tech.

Problem: Burning smell.

Uh oh... this isn't good news at all, disconnect your battery away from the gun right away and have it diagnosed by your local Airsoft store gun tech as this may be your internal wires or components burning up.

GAS RIFLES & PISTOLS

(Always use quality bb's)

Problem: BB's rolling out of my barrel.

Your hop up may be off or your hop up bucking is worn or teared through normal use.

Problem: BB's jamming.

If your gun is jammed, do not continue to shoot the gun as it may cause further damage internally. Take out the magazine, flip the selector to safe and clear the inner barrel with an unjamming rod. Then proceed to clean your inner barrel as inner barrel through use accumulates dirt, dust and grim.

Problem: Magazine running out of gas quickly.

Since the magazine is gas operated, gas tends to cool down a lot faster when in cold temperatures. This can be solved by putting the magazine in your pockets to warm them up before usage.

Problem: Magazine leaking gas.

This might happen since the O rings inside the magazine is dried up or ripped. We usually recommend people to have a bit of green gas inside the magazine after usage to keep the O rings internally lubricated. If problem still persists try tightening the screw at the bottom of the magazine.

BATTERIES (Li-Po batteries only)

Problem: Battery isn't charging.

Through use batteries tend to lose charge over time and can be drained. If the battery isn't charging at all it's most likely drained and require you to purchase a new battery.

Problem: Battery is swelling.

Through usage and incorrect charging and discharging of the battery it can cause the battery to swell. If this occurs discharge and dispose the battery immediately as it will become a fire hazard.
